Where care becomes change.

Project Healing Hearts is an ongoing effort to create lasting change and healing where the world has failed to care. Through writing, we explore the experiences, rights, safety, and futures of women and children.

Our story

PHH began with a focus on child abuse and exploitation in India. That concern remains part of our story, but our purpose reaches beyond one country. We write about the harm people face, the expectations that silence them, and the possibilities for a safer, more compassionate world.

Why Healing Hearts?

Project means continuing work. Change takes attention, learning, and sustained effort.

Healing means making room for safety, recovery, dignity, and growth after harm.

Hearts reminds us that behind every issue is a person with a life, a voice, and a future.

Our work today

Writing is where we begin. Our blog brings together essays, researched perspectives, and reflections on issues affecting women and children. We aim to make overlooked experiences visible, challenge harmful assumptions, and give readers a reason to care and a place to begin.

Founded by Ann Lijo, PHH invites you to read thoughtfully, share what matters, and help shape the conversations we explore next.
